About the Chamber

The Spanish Peaks Chamber is committed to serving the interests of member businesses and advocating for business advancement and economic growth throughout Huerfano County through marketing and support of community-wide activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm in a hybrid format, in person at Crafted in Colorado, 205 South Main Street in La Veta and via Zoom video conference.  If you have an item for the agenda, please email info@spanishpeakschamber.com at least two days prior to the meeting.

The Peaks were known to the Comanche as “Wahatoya” or “Double Mountain”

Located west of Trinidad, CO, in the San Isabel National Forest, the Spanish Peaks is one of the most spectacular examples of exposed igneous dikes. This natural landmark engulfs an enormous 37,678 acres. West Spanish Peak (13,626 ft) and East Spanish Peak (12,683 ft)
