Dear Huerfano County business owners and friends of the Spanish Peaks Chamber:
We would like to thank all current members of the Spanish Peaks Chamber of Commerce for their support and invite new businesses in Huerfano County and beyond to join us in working together to help businesses in our region prosper and grow. As an all volunteer organization, the Spanish Peaks Chamber relies on your membership to help us reach our goals and contribute to the economic stability and vitality of our community.
Your membership helps fund the creation and distribution of SPCC brochures locally and regionally throughout Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. It helps improve and maintain our website and social media platforms and to amplify local business content and available resources throughout the region. In addition to the value we bring to local business, we are dedicated to promoting community events, supporting the arts, and as well as supporting the maintaining of beautiful public spaces. Our board members value the relationships we have built with the Huerfano County Economic Development team and the Spanish Peaks Business Alliance, and look forward to future involvement with the Huerfano County Tourism Board.
An important function of the Spanish Peaks Chamber of Commerce is welcoming guests to our region. During the 2021 season, Chamber volunteers provided information and welcomed over 525 guests to the La Veta Visitor Center at the historic Train Depot. The Chamber continued to expand its reach this season by distributing brochures and maps in the new combined Cuchara Village La Veta Library and visitor Center located along the Highway of Legends.
